Tanya Holtland is author of the chapbooks Requisite (forthcoming from Platypus Press, 2019) and Inner River (Drop Leaf Press, 2016). Her poetry and nonfiction appear in The Offing, The Rupture, Mary: A Journal of New Writing, OXALIS, and elsewhere. She holds an M.A. in English and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, and was artist-in-residence at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, where her libretto Fated (a collaboration with composer Daniela Candillari) premiered winter of 2017. Some of her photography lives on this site, and over at The Wire’s Dream. A Los Angeles native, her work surrounds the intersections of memory, ecology, borders, design, and matriarchy.
