Tanya Holtland is the author of Requisite, a finalist for the Broken River Prize, forthcoming from Platypus Press, 2020.
Her nonfiction and poetry appear in The Offing, The Rupture, Mary: A Journal of New Writing, OXALIS, and elsewhere. She holds an M.A. in English and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. As artist-in-residence at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, she authored the libretto Fated, a collaboration with composer Daniela Candillari. Some of her photography lives on this site and over at The Wire’s Dream.
A Los Angeles native, her work surrounds the intersections of memory, ecology, borders, design, and matriarchy.
